Cooly

First off i like the way it sorta hits right into it from the very start, its got quite a funky beat which i like. The laugh near the start was a bit unnerving but very cool.
The main beat starts to get a bit samey and needs a tad variation, as the voical parts bring the track up the repetativeness brings it down. So work on that.
Overall though its pretty good, just work on variation and also nice loop ^_^

I have other versions where I do variations with the main beat but it kind of detracts from the general feel of what I originally wanted. It got to the point to where it sounded like I had dual personalities or something.

I hate build-ups so that's why I just went head first into this one and I know the laughing is unnerving... makes it fun :)

Thanks for the review

Not bad.

The poiano intro is really nice, its got a nice feel to it, classic. The drums come in at a nice steady beat also which is cool. The weird lyrical thing at the beginning wasnt bad, but i wouldnt say it was good either. :-S
This could do with maybe some soft lyrics over it because after a while it gets repetative and it justs fades out at the end, work on the ending and add some variation to the main tune. Maybe some lyrics but thier not essential.
Overall pretty cool though. ^_^

Hmmm

This is extremely repetative, ok so the drums are pretty cool with a nice steady beat and the bass is whirring in the backround which sounds good but this track needs alot more, more instruments, change of tempo, or as you suggested someone to rap over it.
I thought it was going to speed up after the intro and i was surprised when it didnt. It gets better after about halfway but then it just becomes dull again. Needs work.

Cheers for the review man, it does need work... and work it shall get (after I finish my university work that is). I think i know what I need to do with this now, so I should hopefully be releasing a new version within the next month.

Thanks again for the review (and to everyone at the review request club). James

Awesome

This was very good in my opinion, im usually into rock and metal and not hip hop at all, usually i hate it! I liked this because of the slow intro i had no idea what was coming, soft and slow melody with freaky singing in the backround suddenly kicked into a huge hip hop rap, surprising the crap outta me. Not to mention when i listen to the lyrics theyre really cool, and i like the melodic bit between verses.
You should really post up the lyriccs as theyre really good, the drums in this are nice and heavy keeping the bet if you want. The bit with the angel was really weird, very weird conversation between them. Especially when you say "she took away my manhood" very good. The ending is very good, ends on a good note and i was wondering if you did both voices? Nice audio though!

Short and sweet.

This song gives me the image of something floating throughout space, just has that sort of beat. But quite nice, The drums are nice and steady and dont overshadow the rest of the audio, the piano is nice too and that coupled with the wind chimes kicking in every couple of seconds makes this quite good. The repetativeness doesnt really matter in a 30 second tune like this but if your going to make a full song out of it id recommend you variate slightly. Very Good Though.

Hmmm as far as loops go this was ok. But its not really a dance song. The bass is very heavy which is cool and the synth sounds from about half way through are very cool but drown out the drums. The drums sound slightly tinny not authentic really. The intro is far superior to the outro as it just repeats itself at the end. Not bad though.

Very Cool ^_^

Wow what a long song, its nice to review something other than 1 or 2 minute techno loops, I liked this as it has a very slow relaxing feel to it, The intro is nice and melodic, and the piano melody at the beginning is very good. When the drums kick in theyre very quiet but i suppose you didnt want to overshadow the rest of the instruments. :P

The synth sounds throughout the the audio were very nice and it had a nice tune to it. the drums may of been quiet but you can still feel the effect they have on the melody. The high synth at 3.40 was very nice. :D
After that it kicks back into the same good tune, you might want to make this audio slightly more liveler as its called "Melting Snow" im guessing signifying springtime commencing which means it should be full of life damn it! >:(
I liked how the outro was as it slowed down slightly to a fade out. Very Nice.

Overall its a very cool track and i favorited it, also i thought i should mention i reviewed this well not only because its a very cool audio and i like it, but because of what you might do to me with your scary mod powers if i review badly. ;P

Sweet Guitar.

The organ type sound at the beginning reminded me of being in a church, and when the piano hits it sounds awesome altogether. The drums are very subtle and dont overwhelm the piece which is cool. The guitar in it is wicked and the solo fits right in with the rest of the audio.
The ending isnt spectacular, im sure you could do something to improve it, as it ends a bit to abruptly, maybe a fade out or something simple like that. Overall a very nice audio from you like always and hoping to hear more next week. ^_^

Saxarific!

A very nice piano intro, and fits well with the bass line in the intro. The bongo drums were pretty cool for percussion coupled witht eh shakers gave for a unique sound. The saxaphone is used very nicely throughout the whole peice and gives it a jazzy feel. All the instruments are all combined very nicely in this.
The outro is cool, consisting of bongo drums and it seems to fit the loop quite nicely, bringing us around back to the slow piano.
A very relaxing tune, cant wait to hear more! ^_^

Saxtastic

This is a brilliant track, the piano intro is superb and is coupled very nicely with the violins that join it, and excellent use of the saxaphone.
Throughout the song the saxaphone is used very well within it and id recommend you use sax again in other pieces. I really like how the whole piece just slows down completely at the end, and not just slops abruptly.
Very Cool

WritersBlock responds:

Thanks for the review. I'm glad you like it. I was just messing around with sounds, and the saxophone really took me by surprise, so I'll probably write more for the sax, although I'll probably look into collaborating with RadioactiveRhino or TheLobsterman, to get a live recorded sax, because that would be cool.
