Im starting to watch more and more movies, and if you're anything like me then sometimes you may find it hard to think of a good film to watch, so im going to compile a list of some of the greatest films i've ever seen, i highly recommend all of these.

I'm mostly interested in films that aren't that well known, so it would be pointless in me naming films everyone knows are great, such as scarface or The Godfather. And also, if anyone watches these films i'd like to know what you thought of them, or what you thought of them if you've already seen them. And if you know any films, name them, i'll watch them and see what i think. :)
: Also if anyone says The Dark Knight, its not going on here no matter how many times you say it :P

Tideland
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
Desperado
Into The Wild
The Shawshank Redemption
Unforgiven
Close Encounters Of The Third Kind

I've seen "Into the Wild" and it was a good movie. My brother didn't like it too much, but meh.

Don't know of any other good movies because I don't watch many.

Have a good day sir.

I thought Into The Wild was really good, quite a long movie though, some really good parts throughout it. :P

Most of these are classics.
Try some mumblecore movies like the puffy chair. =P
Also, The Edukators, Begotten, (shudders...) Eraserhead and Lost In Translation.

Okay

sweet!!! but ye don't have unbreaksble :D

Unbreakable is one of the worst films ive ever seen, i keep telling you that Johnny but you never listen!!! >:(

All monty python films
American Psycho
Fight Club
Apocalypse Now
This Is Spinal Tap
Star Wars
LOTR

ENOUGH SAID :P

Might I reccomend films like "Shaun of the dead" or "Sweeney Todd"?
They're especially well made, including some dark humor.

I agree with mrRedux, both of those films are good! And hello, goodbye, perhaps tell a drunk to piss off, then quickly following said advice experience horrible pain as the drunk smashes a chair over your head because he thought he was playing Wack-a-Mole. then you all laugh and go to the movies and you mysteriously go missing without a trace, despite the bloody trail that leads to a dumpster 20 fett away, nope, no trail at all... the morale of the story? Oh shit, I need to think of one, give me a minute... AHAH, don't go by dumpsters, this isn't really spam or atleast I hope it isn't, I am simply bored ^.^
